It has been brought to my attention for quite some time that the Eon Family is getting very big. Even with accepting only those who had asked to be accepted ages ago, the number of members has greatly risen and this is causing concern with some members. I would not name them, but I had known of this for a while.

However, it took me a bit of thinking but I have finally come up with a solution so that accepting others into the family is not left solely up to the Alpha's and Beta's. I have come to the decision to place the decision into the paws of the entire family.

This means there will be a rather large change, but do not worry...it's not as bad as it might seem. If anyone has objections to this idea before we go through with it fully, be sure to voice your opinion.


My plan is as follows:

We will be creating a separate section of the Eon Family. In this new division, anyone who asks to join the club will be accepted into this second club. The Beta's (Vergil and Latias) will run and maintain the other club and the members.

All the most recent members will most likely be shifted over into this other club. You will not be part of the Eon Family's main club...which is this one. But you MAY be brought in later. It is like a sister club, where hopeful siblings will wait to be transferred into the family when our current members feel it is ready for someone new.


Now, before you all start to get angry and rant because some of you most recent members have been waiting a very long time to join and be accepted in. I wish to explain myself more thoroughly. You ARE part of the Eon Family still, but you are also NOT. You are in a waiting list, but with your partial connection to the Eon Family, you can interact with the members of this family club and create a friendship. Get more accepted and have a better sense of closeness.


I will now state some of the reasons why I feel doing this is best for the family.

1. This method will allow us to weed out those who wish to join the club simply because it is well-known. Possibly to allow themselves to be part of something popular and try aid them in getting pageviews and more popularity on the site.
In other words, this idea I propose will ensure that those who TRULY wish to be part of the club and are serious about wanting to be part of a family community group...will actually wait it out. This will reveal those who are dedicated to be part of the family.
2a. It gives better control to the entire family. As I had said, the Alpha's and Beta's are guides. So since this is the case, the family needs to have a better say. Because I do not know all relationships between other Eons. I don't want to accidentally let an Eon in that someone detests and would rather not have them around. As sad as it would be to exclude someone just because of one member, we would need to try find a way around the problem...as long as we can keep all members happy. This is something I want to preserve...keeping the peace.
2b. A sense of being equals, all members will not have to be concerned that the Alpha's and Beta's are still running everything and pulling the strings. This will place power into all the member's possession to actually have a full say on the happenings. Hopefully this will help appease many members and not feel that they are not important, or that their opinions do not matter. Because your opinions DO matter.
3. Since the decision is up to the members that are within the main Family, those wishing to join will be more inclined and encouraged to develop friendships with the present members. By getting to know those in the family, a foundation is built that will help newcomers to the family be more easily accepted and will also have someone else in the family to turn to for help or support and be more comfortable around them. This will help maintain a more family feel.
4. By controlling the flow of incoming siblings to the main part of the family, any fears that some may have about the size of the family causing some members of the family to be forgotten or neglected...is minimised. Allowing a more tranquil and stress-free situation for all members. And that means less fights and issues arising in the family. This family already came to the brink of falling apart and I will not allow it to repeat. All problems need to be addressed and I will take any method needed to ensure a repeat of the previous issues does not arise.

I had more to say, but I can't remember the others. But there were a lot of reasons.

On another note, if this other club is made, there will be a name needed and so suggestions will be very helpful.

The Eon Family's History

The birth of the Eon Family
The Eon family was first an idea from . He talked with and another friend about it, and they decided to start it. and became the "alphas". It was first founded on Youtube.
In the Eon family we consider the members as siblings, Eon siblings.

The day of change
At one point, the family started to slip into turmoil. Chaos started to rise and the feel of a family community was greatly slipping. spoke to about the state of the family. He wrote a journal expressing himself while (in his exact words) inspired by Silenrea. :eon-krate32 soon made a journal too about the matter, and this is when the chaos reached a peak. Action was taken and changes were made.
The new Alphas are and . And the Betas are and .

The departure of a founder
Sadly, shortly after the family was stabilised, left the family, refusing to return. He was not forced out, but left of his own choice.

How to Join
